Partnership in the gospel

Welcome to SIM Zimbabwe

About us :

SIM Zimbabwe became a full entity and member of the SIM Global Assembly  in February 2018. As such, the vision and mission of SIM Zimbabwe is shaped and guided by

the vision of SIM International. Locally, SIM Zimbabwe is registered as a private voluntary organisation ( P.V.O) according to the laws of Zimbabwe and is overseen by and accountable to the SIM Zimbabwe Board and Trustees.

SIM Zimbabwe works in close partnership with local churches and other para-church organisations.

Under God, SIM Zimbabwe seeks to prayerfully work

towards the following vision to the glory of God and

the good of his people:

By Faith we see  :

A witness of Christ to every Zimbabwean so that no-one lives and dies without hearing the gospel and responding to it

Believers discipled to a fuller understanding of their faith .

Christ's compassionate love expressed and shared with the poor.

SIM Zimbabwe Ministries

SIM Zimbabwe partners with the church in a variety of ministries which all seek to reach various sectors of the Zimbabwean community  with the momentous news about Jesus  and expressing the love of God to those in need.

SIM Missionaries work with the church to develop and support the work of the church in reaching children and youths with the gospel. This involves providing resources and training church workers for this crucial ministry

This ministry is coordinated by Tendai and Caitlyn Mutya, who are based in Marondera.

SIM Zimbabwe partners with local evangelical churches and other para-church organisations to reach college and university students with the gospel. The aim is to see students being discipled towards maturity and gaining life and leadership skills .

This ministry is coordinated by Tawanda and Shupi Masango who are based in Bulawayo.

SIM Zimbabwe is committed to the training of faithful gospel workers . To that end, SIM partners with theological training institutions to enhance this crucial  work of training and equipping men and women for ministry.

This ministry is coordinated

by Rev. Rod Kastner who is based at Rusitu Bible College in the Eastern Highlands.

Many people who go to African independent churches have limited access to the bible. SIM Zimbabwe is working hard to create contact with people in these churches and finding creative ways of bringing them to the truth of the Bible

This ministry is coordinated by Learnmore Manyenya who is based in Bikita.

This ministry reaches out to orphaned and vulnerable girls between the ages of 13 and 25. The girls are provided with some basic needs, biblical counselling and the goal is to point them to Christ.

This ministry is coordinated by Violet Myambo, who is based in Mutare.

SIM Zimbabwe runs a number of relief projects to assist communities in need. These include the arming God's way program, which encourages zero tillage. From time to time, SIM provides emergency disaster response in the face of natural disasters like Cyclone or droughts.

This ministry is coordinated by Rev Caiphas Ngarivhume who is also the country director for SIM Zimbabwe.

In partnership with Windows of Hope and Operation Neighbour Care, SIM Zimbabwe cares for those infected and affected by HIV and AIDS. This  work is coordinated by two partner organisations:

Windows of Hope which is coordinated by Darlington Chikamhi.

Operation Neighbour Care which is coordinated by Sally Chademana

The LEARN programme focuses on equipping pastors with a digital library on a tablet which is regularly   updated from a central point.

This enables Pastors to access a wide range of sound theological resources without the hustle of shipping physical books.

This ministry is coordinated by Walter Madimutsa who is based in Harare.

Theological Research and Mission Mobilisation

This ministry seeks to bridge the information gap which exists so that the church is well equipped to deal with real and important issues from an informed position.

This department also seeks to mobilise the church towards its God given mandate of

missions. This is done through informing and equipping the church to play its part in

God's mission, whether locally or beyond our borders.

This ministry is coordinated by Walter and Ella Madimutsa who are based in Harare.

The ministry of SIM Zimbabwe is made possible by the generosity of many gospel partners who pray and give towards this work .  We ask you to prayerfully consider how you can partner with us in this work. If you are in Zimbabwe, you can send your support via the account below:
